"At sea, Captains deck, south-facing balcony, with butler service. Take all the books you have been meaning to read, instruct the butler to keep your tea cup filled and warm and then relax. Crossing will seem much too short, as will the stack of books. No Kindle for this affair, only hard-covers that will scatter on the deck once you have read them." - Lucien Forbes

"I am an avid fiction reader.  I find myself with my Kindle2 (the best gift I ever gave myself!) reading in bed, on the beach, by the pool, in the bathtub, at the red light in traffic, doctor's office, etc. But my favorite "my place" is in an upstairs guest bedroom that has a dormer window that I have a hope chest sitting in with a padded cover and pillows.  I can close the door and escape to my world of fiction!  It is my 'Calgon, take me away!' place."                    Allison Marsh

"Best place to sit and read: on the grass, in the shade of a flowering tree.  I turn the pages of the epic romance novel and savor the bold heroine and the principled man who sees her true beauty.  My eyes well up with tears. Is it the emotion or just the pollen-clogged air? Who knows? I savor and am happy." - Susan Comins

"My favorite place to read is early morning in my backyard hot tub. The morning sun is gentle on my eyes, the birds are chirping and squirls bound from tree to wire with ease and grace. The water soothes my body as my mind is stimulated by the pictures the author paints with his or her words. My coffee grows cold as the time flys by immersed in another world." - Kate Frias
